
On the other side of the call, Rudra watched her with that quiet, tired smile tugging at his lips. She looked so peaceful now, curled up under the quilt, hair falling across her forehead like she didn't even notice him.
"Sleep well, Siya," he whispered softly to the screen, his thumb brushing over the edge as if he could reach through the distance. Then, carefully, he placed his phone on the pillow beside him. With her face lingering on the screen, he finally let himself close his eyes and for the first time in what felt like forever, sleep came to him without the usual restlessness.
