Siya was curled up on the couch, a book from Rudra's personal collection resting in her hands. She had stretched her legs out along the length of the couch, completely absorbed in the story. The room was quiet except for the occasional rustle of pages and the soft hum of the ceiling fan.
Without warning, Rudra appeared beside her. Before she could react, he gently lifted both her legs and placed them on his lap.
